Accessing PEP Contact a healthcare provider or visit an emergency room/urgent care immediately. PEP is effective when started within 72 hours. Pharmacists can prescribe PEP in certain states.
PEP Journey If prescribed, take HIV medicines daily for 28 days. Regular follow-up appointments for testing and lab work are crucial.
