Let’s Talk About Testing
Immediate Action is Vital If you suspect you may have been exposed to HIV or any other sexually transmitted infection, seeking immediate medical care is essential. Taking prompt action can significantly impact your health outcome, and our team is here to support you through the process.
What is PEP?
Your Emergency Defense Against HIV Post-exposure prophylaxis, or PEP, is a short course of HIV medicines taken within 72 hours of potential exposure to prevent the virus from taking hold. It’s an emergency measure and not for regular use.
What is DoxyPEP?
Think of it as the morning-after pill, but for bacterial STIs. Take one dose after a condomless encounter to significantly reduce your risk.
What is PrEP?
Initiating a dialogue about sexual health is crucial, and we recognize the sensitivity involved. Open Door Health Center aims to break down barriers by ensuring that everyone can access Outreach Services seamlessly.
