Open Door Health Center of Illinois is hosting its 16th Annual Summer Picnic & Book Bag Giveaway, and we need your help to equip local students for success!

✏️ Back-to-School Supply Drive

Help us empower students by donating essential school supplies.

• Donation Deadline: August 19, 2026

• Supplies Needed: New backpacks, notebooks, folders, loose-leaf paper, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, highlighters, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, pencil pouches/boxes, calculators, hand sanitizer, tissues, and more!

• Drop-Off Locations:

  • Aurora Location: 1900 Ogden Ave #210, Aurora, IL 60504

  • Elgin Location: 1665 Larkin Ave, Elgin, IL 60123

Join us for a day of food, fun, fellowship, and community!

• Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

• Location: Fabyan #1 Forest Park Preserve (1925 Batavia Ave., Geneva, IL 60134 – Route 31)

• Activities: Barbecue, games, prizes, and Book Bag Giveaways (while supplies last)!
