One of our clients wrote this beautiful poem about HIV. It is hanging on the wall at the Elgin location. We wanted to share it here so everyone can see.
Dear HIV
When you came, I didn’t know what to do with you,
now after so many years we have learned to live together.
I recognize that your presence in my life has led me to my empowerment, I learned to defend my rights and the rights of others. Courageous and dear HIV, lets continue to walk together because we still have many years ahead of us.
